« The Bobinosaurus » is a large-scale drawing resulting from an eight-month residency conducted during the 2024–2025 school year with fourth-grade scholars from the Simone Veil primary school in Bobigny. To create this artwork entirely in colored pencils, François- Thibaut PENCENAT explored the environment around the school with the children during educational workshops to imagine these phantasmagorical creatures matched to their imaginations. Its collaboratively chosen title highlights the project’s roots in the territory of Bobigny.

« Les Bobinosaurus » est un grand dessin résultant d’une résidence de huit mois menée durant l’année scolaire 2024-2025 avec des élèves de CM1 de l’école Simone Veil à Bobigny. Pour réaliser cette œuvre intégralement aux crayons de couleur, François-Thibaut PENCENAT a, durant les ateliers pédagogiques, exploré avec les élèves l’environnement autour de leur école afin d’imaginer ces créatures fantasmagoriques assorties à leurs imaginaires. Son titre, choisi de manière collaborative, souligne l’ancrage du projet dans le territoire de Bobigny.
