The withe silhouettes are drawn from photographies taken during the show The Living Dying Opera which was staged by François-Thibaut Pencenat in 2019. The silhouettes depict the two performers Howie Kenty and Juecheng Chen, who were on stage. The white surfaces are put together in order to reenact actions which occurred on stage or to summarize in somewhat slow motion the performers’ movements. The silhouettes are set up in cardboard on which perspective floor tiles are drawn evoking a pocket theater.
